Organic marshmallow root, in a gentle cold-process soap base formulated specifically for the pH-sensitive skin of newborns and infants. The bar produces a gentle, conditioning lather that cleanses without stripping, without disrupting the developing skin barrier, and without any of the synthetic surfactants.
Sweet Baby Oil: Nourish and Massage
Organic marshmallow root, organic calendula, and organic lavender buds, infused in organic botanical oils. A light, absorbing oil in the Fleuriation baby line. For the post-bath massage that strengthens the parent and child bond, supports the infant’s developing skin barrier, and delivers botanical nourishment in the most direct and gentlest format available. Also formulated for cradle cap support when applied to the scalp before washing.
Sweet Baby Balm: Seal and Protect
The finishing step of the bath routine, organic marshmallow root and organic plantain leaf, in a local beeswax base with organic botanical oils. Applied to slightly damp skin after the bath. The balm seals in moisture, delivers botanical nourishment, and creates the gentle protective layer that newborn and infant skin needs between washes.
The Complete Sweet Baby Bath Routine
- Draw a warm (not hot) bath
- Wet baby’s skin gently
- Lather the Sweet Baby Bar Soap between your palms (avoid the eye area. Our handcrated baby soap is not a tear-free)
- Wash gently and rinse thoroughly
- Pat (never rub) skin dry with a soft towel
- While skin is still slightly damp, apply the Sweet Baby Oil: warm a small amount between your palms and massage gently into baby’s skin
- Follow with the Sweet Baby Balm on any areas that need extra protection like dry patches, elbows, behind the knees, the diaper area, or full body.
The oil nourishes. The balm seals. Together they create a complete botanical barrier for the skin between baths.
